Hi,
I intent to take GMAT in early Sept'16 (or Oct'16 depending on how well I'm prepared!) and aim to score 720-730. I need help in evaluate my study strategy for GMAT exam, if it sound reasonable or if there is something else that I can do to enhance my chances of scoring the desired result.
I recently took diagnostic test (GMATPrep) and scored a mere 500 (Q26 V23). Really disappointed with the result, I had scored 580 on
MGMAT diagnostic test last time, however, I know I can do better and have come up with following plan:
Next 2 months
- Spend uninterrupted 2-3 hours on weekdays and 3-4 hours on weekend.
- Start with verbal section (CR first and RC last) then move to quant.
- Practice and evaluate strategy concept after each session
Final month:
- Practice test (5-6 tests in total)
- Fine tune approach and work on weaker area
- Take a call if I should postpone the test date
Inventory:
- Ordered OG17 pack. For now, working with OG15
-
MGMAT strategy guide
- Gmat club forum
Is 3 month reasonable timeline given the sheer gap in current and desired score? Please advice.
Thanks in advance,
roadrunner
