Hello all! New to the forum. Very excited about digging into the content. In a peculiar timeline situation, but hope you all can provide some insight.
I had a baby at the start of my online
MGMAT course. The week 6 class is coming up soon. I
have been able to keep up with all of the classes, but none of the homework. Thus, I wanted to craft a very specific game plan prior to test day. I have 10.5 weeks from today to prepare.
My first CAT was with the MBA.com Prep software and I scored a 490. I admit that halfway through I sort of "gave up" because I didn't think I was scoring well. I was still reviewing the questions, but certainly wasn't doing math and just basing it off intuition.
I've been told from the school I want to go to that after review of my denied application from last year, if I resubmit everything with a 600, that I would gain admission to the program. Obviously I hope to score higher than that, but would love to get feedback on how I've laid out my strategy. With daycare and paternity leave over, I'm able to commit 3-4 hours a day, and whatever is necessary on the weekends.
I put the "homework" from
Manhattan GMAT on each day as "After Session x" meaning I need to do the prescribed HW for after that session. You'll notice I'm playing HW catchup from previous sessions.
I also planned on going through every single
MGMAT and
OG books beforehand, but again am not sure if it is too aggressive since the point is to really study the missed problems, and not churn and burn through as many as possible. I'm not sure if I need to pay any mind to Integrated Reasoning so I didn't include that as part of my studying plan. If nothing else it's included in the
MGMAT coursework and homework.
Thanks all!
B
