Hello Mike,
I picked option A. the best option. And later after reviewing other responses learnt about the resumptive modifier.
B - rejected because affecting was present. And we shouldn't be using present progressive if not needed.
C, D - incorrectly modifies atmosphere.
E - doesnt make sense. usage of as - incorrect.
I see people rejected B - for the usage of "with" modifier. Could you please explain to me the usage of "with" and why is it incorrect here.
And where "with" could be correctly used as modifier.
I read other responses but I am not convinced.
Of course, we use "with" a lot - e.g. I am hanging out with my friends.
