Congrats on the score and good luck on your retake.

Are you looking to study in the US or Asia? You'd be competitive for the Asian schools I mentioned...

You'll need to up your GMAT score to be competitive for the Top 20 schools in the US. Of course, your career goals and plans for your business will also play a big role in your candidacy too.

With a 660 and a 2.7, your range of schools is likely gonna be somewhere in the 20-50 range. I know it's a huge range, but the advantage is once you get to Tier III the rankings become less important, and fit and industry and location become much more important. So you need to pick out the schools which fit your goals, which are in the region you hope to work, and at which you feel you can fit well.

Retaking the GMAT is always a good idea if you believe you can do better. And with 30+ more points, your chances will improve at Tier II schools and you will be a better canididate for scholarships at Tier III schools.

I hope this helps,
Jon

I haven’t decided any BS schools: (any recommendation??)

My questions:
* I really want to end up somewhere that is going to be a good fit for my personal interests and goals. What are some good strategies to determine what will be a good fit?
* What are my chances at the more ultra-elite schools listed?

Your profile is pretty good. All you need is a good score of 700 or 700+ to get into a top ranked business school. You can look at schools like UNC Chapel Hill, Chicago Booth , Dartmouth , Virginia Darden. All these are well known for strategy.
