Dear
jahnvisangal,
Thank you for writing to us. I am glad you asked this question!
Scholaranium consists of three kinds of quizzes –
Cementing, Custom, and Ability each with its own functionality. The quizzes you are referring are Ability quizzes – the ability quizzes are used in three scenarios –
1) Once you complete cementing and you want to self-assess and test your sub-sectional ability.
2) Once you complete your preparation on Verbal (Which is when you complete building foundations, cement your learnings and then test yourself in a timed and strained setting), revise your SC notes and
error log and would like to get up to speed with your ability.
3) Once you complete your preparation and would like to run speed tests towards the last phase of your preparation.
I looked at all your account data points, and you are somewhere between scenarios 1 & 2.
I was happy to see that you improved your SC ability from the 38th percentile to the 85th percentile and more now .
Does this seem too good to be true?
Absolutely not . Our ability quizzes are a mix of easy, medium, and hard questions with a set time limit – it’s a very real simulation of what the GMAT tests like with the only difference that the difficulty is static, and it contains a single test engine that calculates weighted average and corresponding ability.
How do we calculate an ability score? Each weighted score corresponds to an ability score – and we calculate this a real-time AI engine that takes the scores from every student that has ever taken the ability quiz and ranks students based on ability just like the GMAT does.
The scores you see now are representative of what you can expect on the GMAT, but you must remember that the GMAT is also a test of how you transition from an SC question to a CR & RC question. Therefore, we have a test readiness stage.
Please write to us at
support@e-gmat.com and we would love to carve out your path forward that will allow you to test yourself in a more rigorous manner. (
PS – We have something better than the ability quiz too!)
