Hi mbaMission,
I am applying to HBS 2+2 so my only work experiences are 4 internships I held in between study terms. Of the four, I feel like my first two are well captured in my resume and I don't have much more to talk about (My impact potential was limited, as I was a freshman). The last two I did at a FAANG company (same exact team and function), and made significant impact, so I'll definitely be using one of the three slots in the PE section to expand on that role.
However, I don't want to "waste" my two remaining slots on the PE section on those other 2 internships. Would it be appropriate to use the space to elaborate on the non-profit I founded? I currently have this under my Extracurriculars where there isn't nearly enough space to expand on the breadth of my impact. I'm also the owner of a small social enterprise that I have been running for 5 years, which I also put in the EC section. Could I move this into the PE section of the app?
Would AdCom look down upon 2 out of the 3 "Professional Experiences" I choose to expand on in the application being initiatives that I've founded? I obviously made much more impact in those roles than in my first internships where I was mostly doing administrative tasks. However, all 5 of these experiences are captured in my resume.

Wow, sounds like you've been quite busy with all these internships and social ventures! I would definitely include the FAANG internship where you had impact, and then yes, I think it's totally fine for the other 2 professional experiences to be the non-profit you founded and the social enterprise you've been running. You'll have a good amount of space to discuss your accomplishments and challenges. But I wouldn't "double count" them -- if you're listing them in PE, then I wouldn't list them in EC too. Hope that makes sense!
