Hi,
Yes, they do look for business knowledge/managerial work but that's one of the criteria. It depends from school to school. Most of the schools require an undergraduate degree in any discipline or high no. of years of managerial work. You applied to 5 schools depending on what? Did you made the school selection by yourself and on what basis? What are your MBA goals?

Qualification : B.E (Electronics and communication)
Grade : 7.2 on 10
Experience : 3 years in Information Technology industry
GMAT : 650
IELTS : 7.5 (R 8.5, L 8.5, S 7, W 5.5)
As far as I have seen, MBA from renowned B-schools requires either an undergrad degree in a business/management related major or managerial work experience.
I'm an engineer working in IT services, I've been into research and applying to B-schools since Jan 2019 only to see 5 REJECTIONS.
Should I invest more time looking for MBA programs that accept my profile or should I switch and look for Business Master's(MSc, PGDBM, and so) programs instead.
