Hi all,
First of all let me thank GMATclub and all the participants for maintaining and sustaining this wonderful resource for GMAT students. I have posted very few times but I will try and be more active now.
I am taking the GMAT on Jan 3rd, which is about 9 days from now. My target is to get a 780 or higher - I know it's a lofty one, but there is no harm in shooting high. Here are my test results so far:
(The tests were taken in the order they are written here, ending with the most recent)
PP1: 720 (Q-43 and V-46)
Princeton Online Test: 720 (Q-51, V - 39)
Kaplan Online Diagnostic: 700 (Q-45, V -43)
Kaplan Diagnostic on CD: 700 (Q-45, V-42)
Kaplan FT1: 620 (Q-40 something, V-31) (Did really poorly on verbal)
Kaplan FT2: 700(Q-50, V-39)
PP2: 770(Q-50, V-44) (Hadn't started the OG at this point)
I have completed the Kaplan GMAT book and CD (still have to take the last 2 FT). I am starting the OG now. Since I have so few days left, I am wondering what all should I study apart from the OG and the two remaining Kaplan FTs on CD as well as one Kaplan paper test.
Should I go for the paper based ETS tests? (How long does it take for them to arrive -- I am in Austin, if anyone is looking to sell?)
My weak areas are RC, DS and SC in that order. I tend to make a few mistakes in Quant (silly ones) and some real ones on RC. Also, my concepts about probability are still a bit hazy.
Please share your suggestions given the very short time limit. Which parts of the GMATclub material I should focus on?How can I push my score above the 770 mark? Is there any book or anything I should get for tests?
I appreciate the help and thanks in advance.
