Hi all, took GMAT yesterday, was sort of a train wreck as I felt really pressed for time but then I got my ESR and currently I am super pissed off as the scores really do not make sense with respect to my overall score (690).. I would appreciate some guidance
For verbal I think it is absolute bullshit, first of all reading comprehension is a stronger area for me than sentence correction and second it appears I only got 5 out of 36 questions wrong? HOW THE HELL IS THAT only 36???? this exam format is a total joke
Please note that I am stronger in quant than verbal but due to some very weird questions in quant and crazy geometry which would require 3 minutes minimum to solve (I even got a geometry question which had 4 lines of text and two drawings with multiple figures all over the place...) my score tanked... but then again when I saw ESR it seemed as if I was on a really good track and the section I had most confidence in seemed to be the worst one?
I am aiming for 760, I have only until end of this month to take it again, not sure if thats realistic but I am willing to pay for tutoring etc as I dont want to take new focus since its new and percentiles are not clear, although I am seriously considering taking GRE instead of this silly test. The only thing is I would probably need 2 months to learn vocabulary as I am not an english native speaker
