Lets denote inner rectangle area l * w
If the area of the inner figure has the same area as the frame then total total area is 2 (l*w) = 320 => and inner area is l*w = 160
We know that the ratio is the same: l/w = 20/16 = 5/4 => w = (4/5) *l, substitute that in the first equation gives:
l^2 (4/5) = 160 => l^2 = 160 * 5/4 => l^2 = sqrt(200) = sqrt(2*100) = 10*sqrt(2)
