Work profile6 yrs work experience in Managerial positions.
**Started off as a Territory Service ManagerManaged about 12 outlets of India’s largest automobile company, in a state where I barely understood the language. But did extremely well and have some accolades to show.
**Got selected as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the same company.Worked in this role in a completely start-up environment, building something from scratch with a team of 4 people. Worked with government bodies, other companies and led a lot of these efforts.
**Worked at a consulting firm (world’s largest and the most trusted firm in the healthcare industry) - Not MBBs or Big 4sLed a team of 6 to manage business operations for a Fortune 100 client. Got promoted to the consultant position in < 1 year
**Currently, Product Manager at an AI startupI joined this startup when AI wasn’t so hot. I loved the product and joined as an Associate Product Manager. Got promoted to Product Manager position eventually. Working here as the only Product Manager, leading a team of 14 Engineers, 4 designers, all at least 10-20 years older to me.
Extra curriculars** Built a business for my mom so she could realise her dream of being financially independent - Up and running
**Did some seminars for underprivileged kids and taught them the value of reading extensively, and importantly how to get started
**Learnt to play the Ukulele and have performed at a few open mics
AcademicsMechanical Engineering graduate from T2 University in India. GPA equivalent: 4.0
GMATAttempt 2 - 710 (Q47, V40, IR 8) Attempt 1 - 670 (Q49, V31, IR 2)
I did take a third attempt, but didn't do well there either, and hence cancelled the scores. I don't have the time to take the GMAT again given I want to apply this year in R2
