Hello Forum,
In the past I have greatly benefited(and subsequent contributed) to online forums and I am hoping to get valuable advice again.

25 year old Indian male @ San Francisco.
2+ years work experience at a bay area software firm as engineer.(3 patents)
Masters @ Carnegie Mellon prior to that - Public policy/auction theory capstone project under Econ prof for a renouned DC firm.
UG @ India.
I haven't taken my GMAT yet but from my GRE experience(1460), I am confident of 720+.
Objective
--------
Career switch from tech into management consulting.
Question
-------
While I do dream to get into a top-10 school, I wanted to get a quick reality check from you guys. At this point, the only thing I could work on my profile for the 2012 application is my GMAT.
Please feel free to be brutally honest.

Everything looks okay so far... how were your undergrad and graduate gpa's? Do you have any significant leadership growth at school or out of school? Do you have significant extracurricular work?

unfortunately i don't have any mention-worthy leadership experience.
