Hi,
I came across the below drill on
MGMAT foundation reveiw :
New York City's population is greater than Montana, Wyoming, Vermont, North
Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, and Rhode Island all added together.
Corrected version:
New York City's population is greater than THOSE OF Montana, Wyoming, Vermont,
North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, and Rhode Island all added together.
While i understand that we cannot compare population with Montana and other states.
What i didnt understand is why we used THOSE OF in corrected version rather them THAT OF.
Since population is singular,THAT of(being singular) should have been used.
Please correct me in case my understanding is wrong.
