Option B.
I drew perpendiculars from E to each sides and used the pythagorus theorem to establish the relation in terms on a, b , c only.

Hi
Can you please share your solution? I am not getting an answer with that method.

I assumed ABCD to be a square (special case of rectangle in which all diagonals are equal). In that case, a=b=c=x. Put these values back in the options and got the answer as B. Is this approach correct ?
