Hey, everyone. I am looking for some input as to which school may be the best choice for me going forward.
As a background, I am looking at moving into venture capital (tech focused) upon graduation. I currently have only 2 years of corporate finance experience at a F500 company, so it may not be the easiest transition.
My admits are University of Florida (Warrington) ($$$), Washington University St. Louis (Olin) and Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper) ($).
I am leaning heavily toward UF due to the full tuition scholarship and stipend I received, but wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything.
My general thought process is the slightly higher ranking of Tepper doesn't justify the $150K+ debt I would acquire when compared to Florida. I haven't received my offer letter yet, but Olin would be a cheaper option to Tepper because I would be able to save money by living with family in St. Louis. I don't yet have the full financial picture for Olin.
Growing up in the midwest, I am used to snow and cold, but I wouldn't mind the change in scenery moving down south.
I am open to any and all suggestions, and am generally curious as to some considerations I may not yet be weighing.
Thank you for your responses.
