ISB will be starting interviews for Round 1 candidates (those who have already submitted GMAT scores) as early as Sep 16, 2018. This is in contrast to the earlier dates for interview for Round 1 candidates (October 1 to November 7) announced by ISB in June. The change seems to have happened owing to ISB's decision to push out the last date for taking GMAT to October 15, which has also affected interviewing schedules.

No further information on city-wise dates etc available yet.

ISB generally gives an advance notice of 5 days before the call for interviews.
If the interviews are to start from 16 Sept. People should expect formal invite today itself !

That means, shortlisting has been, at least partially, completed even before receiving all the applications.
I highly doubt that, at least they will not publicly reveal the interview invite list before the deadlines.

Yes, that does make sense. Maybe they don't start from the 16th, and they go a bit later (say, 20th or later). It wont be the same dates as earlier though. Lets see.

There's an upcoming Webinar tomorrow for Application Help.
Perhaps, they might make an announcement there. Although I highly doubt that.

Hi, Can you please quote the source on this? That is a big big announcement for prospective candidates. I am wondering if this notion is driven just by the logic that score submission date is extended and not any particular source?

It is not driven by that logic. However, would advise you to take it easy - as GmatDaddy has pointed out, ISB would provide advance notice before interviews. There does seem to be change on the cards in terms of schedules, but seems the situation is still evolving. Lets wait for a final call. The purpose of sharing this update was not to alarm anyone, but to ensure that info reach the community quickly. This news was verified at the time of sharing. Will share more if/as available on the situation. Hope that helps clarify.
