Possible to get 740 in 4 months

Hello,
I need some help regarding the GMAT prep. My Quant score is 45 and Verbal 22.How should I prepare ? I want to do self study .
Is it possible to get 740 in 4 months ? I am targeting ISB and mainly in India / Singapore.

If I'm not mistaken that comes to roughly a 580 - which is a 260 point jump to 740. Providing you get a Q49 on the Quant, that means you'd need somewhere around the V42 mark.

Not sure about Singapore Universities but for ISB - 700+ is a decent enough score. Albeit, no negatives for targeting 740! Best of luck! Best Regards

The type of score improvement that you are interested in would likely require that you commit to at least another 3 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. A 740+ Score is currently right around the 97th percentile though - meaning that clearly most GMATers never score that high (regardless of how long they study). Your capacity to earn that type of Score will depend a great deal on how well you are able to hone the necessary Quant and Verbal skills over the next several months - and then do the necessary precision work on Test Day to earn that type of result. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam so you CAN train to score at a higher level.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) Is the score that's listed in your profile an Official Score? If it is, then when did you take the Official GMAT (and was it the At-home Exam or did you take your GMAT at a Test Center?)?
2) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

To prepare for Verbal, you can access many study materials from Crack Verbal, e-GMAT, and other test-prep experts. You may also refer to Aristotle Grail for sentence correction and GMAT power bank for CR question types. There are also many free materials available in the GMAT Club.

In the end, make sure you have an error log for every day, and you may connect with one of our experts to learn the hard concept and approaches. Keep checking your performance by attempting as many mock tests as possible.
