Hey all, what are the chances I could get accepted to an Oxford MBA when I obtained a 3.0 in undergrad at a mid-tier college in the US? What GMAT score would I need to aim for?

In terms of career, I started out as a technical project manager and am currently a senior technical project manager for a fortune 30 company here in the US (5 years of work experience).

MBA is not a necessity of mine since I could just progress in my career by earning certificates/learning new technologies, but I would love the experience of studying/living abroad + just taking a break.

Hi. Found 20 people: https://gmatclub.com/forum/decision-tra ... d%20States
Not many people had 3.0 but there is one with 3.01

Happy to connect you to my clients, offered admission by Oxford on the back of a highly over-represented profile, a work scene fluctuating across industries, profiles, and company sizes. Listen to their review in their own words

Hello

While your undergrad GPA is on the lower side, you can showcase your commitment to learning through taking a few additional courses. You can also use the optional essay to explain your performance.

A GMAT score above 720 will serve to reassure the admissions committee about your capability to tackle the MBA.

While your work experience is fine, you will need stellar essays and strong LORs to further bolster your chances of success. If you have excelled at any extracurricular activities, these will add to your advantage as well.

Is there any particular reason behind applying to Oxford? Are you considering any other universities?

All the best!
