So I got my interview invite today - I was under the impression that today was when the results would be communicated. I don't know when my result will be communicated.

Today is the day they will tell you whether you are invited for interview, dinged or waitlisted.

Oh I was under the impression that they would release results today. There are others who have already interviewed and have already received their results so was a bit confused.

Even I got the waitlist letter. Does anyone knows what are the chances of converting according to last few years?

No one knows. Depends on whether they aren’t able to find candidates better than your profile in future. Even if they do, it will again depend on whether that person rejects the offer thus leaving that position open for waitlisted candidates. Frankly I feel rejection is better than being waitlisted. It’s like being in a limbo. That’s unless you don’t have any other offer of course. If you do, then it’s a nerve wracking wait.

Hey! So unfortunately, I wasn't able to get my essays in the best shape to apply by the 15Nov deadline. How much of a disadvantage is applying in the Jan round? considering this school has 4 application rounds...Any stats here would really help relieve my anxiety.

Is Johnson’s acceptance rate really 30%? That’s quite high for an Ivy League school. It’s almost as if one in three people gets in.

Are you talking about the acceptance rate after an interview invite or in general?

After interview invite, Cornell has one of the highest acceptance rates of around 70%. But I think less people apply to Johnson as a whole which is why they have a higher acceptance rate.

I think the 30% figure was before they rolled out their new curriculum. And this spike in acceptance rate in 2014-15 period was because of a 30% plunge in applications according to Poets and Quants

Are any of you wonderful guys and gals going to be at the Cornell LEAD event on Nov. 30 - Dec. 1?

I will be! Pretty stoked, haven't been to that area of the country yet. Took a couple extra days off to explore outside of the event.

Does anyone know how quickly they start reviewing round 2 apps? I submitted Nov 12 and it already says under review, which seems fast. Not sure if that's a fairly standard timing and was curious if anyone else has seen the same?

Mine is under review as well. I submitted on 15th. So I am not sure how we should see this “under review” status. I am assuming this just means that they confirm that they have our completed application with all the required documents.
