I would encourage anyone in R2 that is invited to a LEAD event to attend. It was an absolutely wonderful chance to get a closer look at the school, culture, and program.

I had a wonderful time and met some exceptional people (prospectives) and I hope to hear back with good news in the next 1 to 2 weeks.

The event consisted of lots of social meet and greets, evaluated team exercises, and of course the normal interview. This felt like a very unique and special consideration that Johnson puts on for students and I wish more schools did the same.

Do you know if there is just one LEAD event per round? I’m sure we met at the initial meeting on Thursday to kick it off, btw

I checked my original email from Johnson and it looked like only one set of dates was given (someone else mentioned possibly two dates to choose from) so I would assume based on that email that there's one event per round. It also took place right before the decision deadlines.

Do they split them evenly or is it weighted by number of applicants per round? We had a bit more than 30 people at our event, but there can only be 25 park fellows.

I'm guessing it's dependent upon how many people are considered high potential. One student said that most of her group in Round 2 were selected as park fellowship. So I guess it depends a lot on how each person is evaluated at LEAD.

I don't mind the slow process as long as we receive the invites.

True that. I am expecting a reply Mid December or Jan 1st week. That’s how it was last year.

When did you interview? Are you planning to follow-up? Someone on this forum said the timeline is around two weeks.

I interviewed exactly 3 weeks ago. Not sure if there was a hold up with Thanksgiving being in there. I wasn't going to follow up, but if I don't hear anything by Wednesday I guess I should... I'm not very hopeful at this point

Hmmm... I wouldn't lose hope if I were u - it looks like it is taking a long time for everyone who interviewed in that timeframe

The wait is going to drive me insane.

I went back through ClearAdmit's pages and it looks like LEAD attendees received decisions the next week.

https://www.clearadmit.com/livewire/pag ... ol=johnson

Let's hope it's the same for us.

Yeah - someone on ClearAdmit said they will be releasing decisions this week or next - we will see what happens. But I agree with you - the wait is excruciating.

Is this for the one year program or two year program? We are talking about the two year program - at least I am.
