a. AC=BC

The sides of the triangle will be ..
(1) AC - A(1,0), C(3,4) --  \sqrt{(3-1)^2+(4-0)^2}=\sqrt{4+16}=\sqrt{20} 
(2) AB - A(1,0), B(5,0) --  \sqrt{(5-1)^2+(0-0)^2}=\sqrt{4^2}=\sqrt{16} 
(3) BC - B(5,0), C(3,4) --  \sqrt{(3-5)^2+(4-0)^2}=\sqrt{4+16}=\sqrt{20}

So, AC=BC > AB

As you can see the x coordinate of C lies between x coordinates of A and B, which also have y coordinate as 0, s o you are looking at an isosceles triangle..

Yes, you can say that AC=BC, but if you had to find the relation between AB and AC, we will have to measure them
