When a sentence starts with "that" always read it as - "The fact that", and the verb used should be "disporve s " (s or es is added to verb when subject is singular) Option A, D and E are out as they use "disprove". That young girls scores as well as.... .. in the standardised test is an entire clause acting as a subject and hence singular. we use disapproves ( singular verb) therefore c.
