Based on the attached image, if we draw the lines in bold, then we can find the angle(PRQ) = 50 degrees (half of the angle at the centre)
We know that angle subtended based on the diameter and on the circle is 90 degrees,
Thus, PRS = 90
or, PRQ+x=90
or, x = 90-PRQ
or, x = 90-50
=40 degrees

x is the inscribed angle of the arc. Therefore, the central angle of the arc shall be 2x.
2x = 80 (180-100).
Hence, x=40
2x = 80 (180-100).
Hence, x=40
