0.45x = 101.25

0.90 x would be 202.50

only suitable answer is 225. I would only do more calculations if the answers are really close together

\(\frac{100}{0.5} = 200\)

Our numerator is just baaaaarely larger than 100. And our denominator is a little smaller than 0.5. We want something that is just baaaaaaarely + a little more than 200.

Answer choice B.

\(\Rightarrow\) x = 101.25/0.45 = 10,125/45 = 2,025/9 = 675/3 = 225
