Number of ways to reach from P to Q = \(\frac{4! }{ 2! * 2!}\) = 6
Out of these 6 ways, there are 4 ways that pass via Q.
Now, in 48 consecutive mornings Betty would repeat the paths \(\frac{48 }{ 6} = 8\) times.

can you explain in little more detail? How did you come to 4!/2!*2!? What is 4 and 2 here? Also, then how do we know that there are4 ways to pass via Q?
