Took the GAMT today and got a 550. Below is the breakup of mocks and GMAT exam score
Source Overall Quant Verbal IR
Mock 1
(Diagnostic) mba.com 440 32 20 -
Mock 1 mba.com 640 44 33 1
Mock 2 mba.com 640 51 25 6
Mock 3 mba.com 700 48 38 5
Mprep - 1 Mprep 680 47 35 4.5

Practiced around 1900 questions in quant from OG, Mprep, other sources. Approx 70% were 700+ level
Practiced around 1000 questions in CR (same sources)
Practiced around 220 passages for RC (LSAT included)
Practiced 500 questions in SC.
Background:
Good in Quant, Weak in critical thinking.
During the exam:
1) Started off well but stumbled in the 2nd quarter (14th or 15th question in quant) and took up time. Could not really recover in my opinion as I rushed through the last 3-4 questions (perhaps got them all wrong). Started to second guess my approach as well during the exam after this crucial juncture.
2) I returned post my break and saw that I consumed 1 minute and 42 seconds from Verbal and again the last 3-4 questions were rushed
3) Most practice was untimed but I was able to solve in around ~3mins for in each topic (RC was 7-8 mins for 3 questions including reading the passage)
Confused where to go from here. Target score is 750+ but at this point I will be happy with a 730 also.

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
If you took your Official GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.
