We are asked about the lowest total volume (not percentage - point to note) that returns through evaporation. Australia and Oceania (7080) has the smallest total precipitation and Europe (8290) is next. Rest everyone has much higher. So we just need to compare these two. In both, 65% returns through evaporation.
Since 65% of 7080 will be lower, it means that the total volume that returns through evaporation will be lowest in Australia and Oceania.
ANSWER: Australia and Oceania
Of the total combined annual precipitation in Europe and Asia together, about ____ flows into the oceans as runoff.
Use weighted average to avoid doing any calculation here.
For Europe and Asia, the run off is 35% and 45% respectively. So overall runoff will be between 35 and 45. Since Asia has much more total precipitation that Europe, the average will be greater than 40 and much closer to 45. The only option is 43%
ANSWER: 43%

For the first part i looked wich one was the smallest (Australia and Oceania) so... 65%*7080+4602 then you can see that othe only one close to that nunmer could be the 65% of europe but 65% of 8290>65% of 7080|
so Australia and Oceania
for the second part of the question, they ask you (Runoff of Europe + Runoff of Asia)/(europe + Asia) = (35%*8290+45%*32300)/(8290+32300)=42.96%
so Australia and Oceania

Hello my friend would you pls explain why we have to multiply by the numbers in KM2? I was thinking we should only compare percentages! The way the problem explain the question, I did not understand the role of numbers is kilometr

Since the total precipitation in Asia (approximately 32000) is much greater than the total in Europe (approximately 8000), the runoff percentage for the two continents combined must be much closer to Asia's percentage (45%) than to Europe's (35%).
Of the five options, only 43% is between 35 and 45 but closer to 45.

Sory for the late answer, its not KM2 its KM3 wich equals to 1000m3*1000m3 its a volume for the amount of rain in each continent. then that amount is divided in 2 types.

If one doesn't use the this approach, this question for sure would take upwards of 2.5 min. I think that is what is tested in this second part.
~32,000 is about 4 times ~8000 in europe, so for weighted average the ratio would skew towards the runoff of the larger number at a rate of 4/5 for the difference between them
step 1: The difference between 45 and 35 is 10.
step 2: 4/5 * 10 is 8.
step 3: 35 + 8 = 43 (we add to the smaller number in this case since we are 4/5 times further away from it)

I watched your video, regarding this question , I have a doubt, what should be considered category in this, as the percipitation is the one to be averaged so that should be the 'c' and the percentages given in the charts should be the 'W'?

I guess for the second question no needed weighed average.
p= (8000x35+32000x45)/40000=43% makes more sense
