Hello,
I scored 690 (Q49, V35) in the GMAT Attempt 3 (test centre) recently and I wanted suggestions to get my score to 730+. I am attempting GMAT in the next few weeks.
Attempt 2 - I scored 670 (Q48, V34) just 1 month before my attempt 3.
Brief about my Mock history before my attempt 3 -
Official GMAT practice test 3 - 720 (Q50, V38)
Official GMAT practice test 4 - 730 (Q50, V39)
Gmat club test - 730 (Q47, V43)
My target b-school average ranges from 670 to 730.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
Best Regards,
DD
I noticed a slight dip in your Quant score and a more significant dip in your Verbal score compared to your practice tests. To better understand where you might have gone off track, I highly recommend getting the ESR. It'll give you a detailed breakdown of your performance, highlighting areas like time management or specific sections where you faced challenges.
Also, revisit your error tracker from past studies. Look for any recurring patterns or types of questions you consistently struggle with. If there's a trend, focus your practice on those areas.
For Quant, since you're already scoring a 49, it seems your challenge lies with the difficult questions. I suggest doing timed practice drills specifically targeting these harder questions. This will help you improve your speed and accuracy under exam conditions.
Best of luck in your next attempt!
