Hey! Please share your detailed report. Btw did you analyze the test well? Looks like you have scope of improvement in all sections. Have you identified your weak areas? Are you making conceptual errors more or are these majorly time management issues? Also, do you see any patterns (getting the same type of questions wrong or getting last few questions wrong)?

Sharing blogs for timing techniques and mock test analysis. Do go through them, they will help you for sure.

Thanks for your input.. Concept wise I am good. Struggling at Timed Environment. Could not able to find as such pattern in the Mistake.  In many question I am giving higher amount of time but landed with the wrong answer. Unable to finish the entire Var & DI section... Detail Report i have uploaded in PDF format in the original post. Pls Do share your insights..
I have gone through the report and here are my observations

1) Practice is the only thing that will help you with DI and you need to keep practicing in a timed-manner.
2) Quant seems to be OK and I won't be worried about functions and statistics coz they aren't too common on GMAT.
3) Verbal is an area where you need significant improvement. You should use Manhattan CR and RC guides to first build your concepts in Verbal and the practice OG and OG review guides in bothe untimed and timed-manner.
4) Please take a GMAT official Free mock test. That's the closest you can get to actual GMAT and it will help you in putting your efforts in the right direction. Once you take the test, analyze it well and identify your weak and strong areas.

Overall, you will have to build your concepts in Verbal and practice in a timed-manner. Timing techniques are crucial on GMAT.Sharing a blog for GMAT RC strategies.

Yesterday in Official mock I got 535(V79 D77 Q73). In verbal and DI I made 9-10 mistake but in Quant I made 6 Mistakes and left 1 question ( timed out). But how quant score so low compared to verbal... How many questions I need to get correct to get V84 D84 Q84.

I have scheduled my Gmat in next 30 days. Do you feel is it possible to get 650 above

Hi deborit,

The good news is that you have a nice foundation:

Regarding how to move forward with your prep, I recommend concentrating on one subject at a time while studying. This allows for thorough understanding and practice, which is key to improving your score.

For example, let's consider your study of Number Properties. First, immerse yourself in all aspects of this topic, and then, focus solely on Number Property questions. After each problem set, take the time to delve into your incorrect answers. This self-reflection is a powerful tool that allows you to understand your learning process and make significant improvements. For instance, if you made a mistake in a remainder question, ask yourself why. Was it a careless error? Did you not apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that you didn't grasp?

By meticulously analyzing your mistakes, you will efficiently address your weaknesses and, consequently, enhance your GMAT quant skills. This process has been unequivocally proven to be effective. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all Quant, Verbal, and DI topics.

For some more tips on the best way to structure your studying, here is a great article:

Hi! It might be difficult to get exact 84 in all sections, but not impossible :). However, you should focus a lot more on making fewer errors and everything else will fall in place.

1) What type of questions are you getting wrong on Verbal and DI? 9~10 incorrect questions is 50% accuracy. To improve this accuracy you should identify if you are getting the same type of questions incorrect and make an error log. Work on those type of questions and then revisit your error log before the next mock. Now let's say all your concepts are good and you are struggling with timing techniques (which happens with a lot of aspirants), then you will have to build a timing technique and practice it in your mocks and time-based practice sessions. I will share a sample timing technique.

2) GMAC is a bit more harsh in quant and 1 missed question can bring your section score by approx. 5~7 points. Quant is going to be competitive as a lot of students do well on it (in comparison to Verbal and DI), so you will have to improve accuracy and manage time well on it.

It's possible to reach 655 mark but you will have to focus a lot more on improving your weak areas,  time-based practice sessions, and time management techniques.DI Strategy - Spend 12 mins on Q1 to Q5 (i.e. when you have 35 mins left, you should be at Q5), spend 10 mins on Q6 to Q10 (when you have 25 mins left, you should be at Q10), spend 10 mins on Q11 to Q15 (when you have 15 mins left, you should be at Q15), spend 13 mins on Q16 to Q20.

Quant Strategy - Spend 11 mins on Q1 to Q5, 10 mins on Q6 to Q10 (you can take 1-2 risks), 10 mins on Q11 to Q15 (you can take 1-2 risks), 14 mins on Q16 to Q21. This also means that (since GMAT clock runs backwards) when you have 36 mins left, you should be at Q5 (considering you need 2 mins to answer that question), when you have 26-27 mins you should be at Q10, when you have 15-16 mins you should be at Q15 (since you will need 1-2 mins to answer that question).

Verbal Strategy: Q1 to Q7: spend 14 mins (when 33 mins are left, you should be at Q7), Q8 to Q14: spend 11 mins (when 22 mins are left, you should be at Q14), Q15 to Q23: spend balance 20 mins.
