I would for for A.. Rest all choices modify things unnecessarily like 'dearly' in D and E.
What is the OA ?
I like A too.
D, E are our because dearly is an adverb modyfying a noun. A noun requires an adjective.
B, C 'and removing' is incorrect because it's not parallel. You could have 'removing' without 'and', but this is not the case. To convert and remove is parallel (you don't need a second to)

C is a past progressive that signals the ongoing nature of an action, and you usually do this as a reference when talking in a different tense.

I was confused between A and C. If we go by parallelism ; the 2 verbs to convert and to remove are parallel in both the cases.
C looks like a close option since all three verbs ending - ing but is incorrect since parallelism says only the supporting clauses need to be in the same tense. If you check the last part it is not parallel ; in fact supporting the clause with remove.
Does that make sense?

When we use posseive nouns (his), especially in an indirect speech, verbs in present participle form (converting) are treated as Gerund..
Therefore 'C' has bad phrasing..
