in a certain city 80% of the houses have cables and 60% have VCR. what is the range of houses that have both cables and a VCR, if there are 150,000 houses:(IN THOUSENDS)

I used a table solving for NO CABLES/NO VCR=0 and then VCR/NO CABLES=0 to recieve the anser which seems correct.
is som1 can suggest a quicker method?

The highest range can be the # of people who have both Cables and VCR, which means 60% of people have cables, and VCR too.
So 60% of people = 60/100 * 150000 = 90000
Then again, the least overlap can be like :
80% + 60% - 100% = 40%
40% of 150000 = 40/100 * 150000 = 60000
So the range = 60000 - 90000
So Answer - C
