There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
i took it in nyc during summer 03.
the instructor was very helpful.
class size was ab. 20 ppl.
the materials are good, not GREAT though.
you get the official GMAT book in the mail.
you don't bring it to the classes though.
in class they give you a booklet- some good tips and great
stats on questions.
i wish i'd taken the class closer to my GMAT test date.
If you're going to take a weekend class, definitely do a good amount of prep beforehand. Weekend classes aren't as thorough or in-depth as the classes that go for 2 months, so you'll get more out of it if you're already well-versed in the GMAT and just need to finetune.
