well, I am not experienced, so wont be of any help.

Just curious, How much did you score in PP?

u can still share what u felt abt Quant in PP1, if u have taken it :-D . In PP1, my score was 720 (Q-48....V-40).

And that was not the score you expected?

my worry is if u get 48 in Maths with almost no time left in PP, which I have heard many ppl claiming it to be very easy compared to the Math in real deal, what shud one expect in Maths for the real thing ? :?

Don't worry for your math baner. The reason most people finish the section early is because they've seen and done a lot of the questions that appear in the tests. In my opinion if you finish math with 2 minutes left and score 48 you have nothing to worry. You were simply giving each question the time and attention it deserves. Well, except perhaps you should pay a little bit more attention about those couple silly mistakes. I have always had my share of silly mistakes too, but I think I was less careless when I took the real test. 8-) Now, if there were a couple questions I really struggled with, then I'd worry for those questions too and I'd start to study some more for the areas of those questions.

But overall, I wouldn't sweat about it. :)

Banerjeea,

HongHu as usual has provided wise counsel. I would not be concerned with a PP1 score of 720 if the questions have not been compromised by studying the same questions in the OG.

U have a quite decent Verbal Score.. :good Have you gone through OG??

I gave PP2 around 3 weeks back. Managed 700 (Q50, V35). I managed to finish Quant when it was 1 minute left. However, I was taking all questions seriously and was more concentrating on calculations/silly mistakes.
In verbal, I screwed the timing. I ended up guessing on 1 whole RC and couple of CR question to finish the section in time. I asked ur score to find out where do I stand. I dont know how I can improve my timing. :( Nowadays I am working on my timings for all SC/CR/RC questions.

No I haven't touched OG yet, will be starting that next week after taking PP2 coming wknd. I want to make sure I use PPs for my benefit instead of taking it after OG. If u haven't done OG yet and have got 35 in V then I think u r in a good position becose I am hoping for further help on verbal from OG as well. What was ur PP1 score ? U have a gr8 Quant score, keep it up. In PP2 I wud stop thinking that this Quant is supposed to be easy and will take the test accordingly, no silly mistakes

Thx
