I installed the practice test system (that came along with the book: cracking the gmat 2005 edition) on my computer and upgrade it on the site from PR. I started doing the test 1 and I suspended the test in the middle of the math section. When I return to the system I noticed that the computer didn't have saved the results from my previous answers. Have this happened to anyone using this sotware? I need your help please. Thanks

That is a glitch with the 2005 version. I used it and you should NOT interrupt the test otherwise it will cancel your test. I emailed tech-support and there is nothing they could do. It seems like it is a generalized problem not pertaining to only 1 CD. Read on here: https://www.gmatclub.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=10540

I feel ashame for a this big company with million dollar business. They can't even get the software right even though it is so simple. I am a programmer myself and I don't think programming a software like this is difficult.

I agree.. one more coming from another programmer..its sad..to put such product on production..

Now I understand that many people have the same problem as me in the PR software. But since I can not do one test in a row I would like to know if it is possible to do the tests in two parts (the math and verbal sections) without loosing the results so I can be able to review all my answers later. For example, I would like to do the math and verbal sections in different days and review the answers lately for both sections. Is there an expedite way to do this?

unfortunately, it is not possible. You have to do it all at once. Anyhow, it is better that you put time aside to do it all at once so as to mimic real test conditions of a 4hour exam

You know what, guys. So far I have never seen a perfect GMAT-CAT software out there beside PowerPrep. PowerPrep has the only problem that it repeated the questions from OG. PR software is too buggy. Kaplan scores people to low, however, its question bank is good. The explainations suck big time. Peterson's software is OK. It will let you to pause the test, a feature that you cannot find in any other software. But Peterson's has a weakness that it is too slow in some computer and the size of the software is huge, even though it contains only four tests. I didn't try 800score, but according to many people, it is as same as crack-gmat which have irrelevant questions.

I am thinking about building my own CAT to kick all of them out of business. It is just ridiculous. :(

I have done the test 1 and uploaded it to the site. When I tried to review the test 1 on the dashboard I noticed it was not updated and I was not been able to review my exam. I have emailed the technical support but they haven't reply to my message yet. I think I will do the test on-line (on the dashboard) instead the software. I wonder if the exams are the same.
