I've just recently started to consider taking the GMAT so without any preparation, I decided to take one of the sample tests at the Princeton Review website.
As I was going through the quantitative section, I was frustrated at how many of the questions I seemed to guess at. As I went through the verbal parts, I felt I did better, but when I got my score I actually scored higher in quant.
My score was a dismal 540. How accurate is the PR sample test? Is it supposed to be easier than the actual GMAT? The main school I am considering (UC Irvine) has a student profile of 577 GMAT for the part time MBA, but I want to shoot for a lot higher and maybe try for UCLA's part time program. They have a 661 average GMAT for UCLA fully-employed program.
It looks like I have a lot of prep/studying to do!
