Any advice on the below question:

Given the following,

x1 = 2 x2 = -1 x3 = -2 x4 = 5 x5 = -4 x6 = 8

Find: 3 ∑ (xi - 1)^2
i=1

FindL 3 ∑ (xi^2 - 1)
i=1

Thanks!
