Hi,

How much time should I be spending on the practice questions? Lately, I have been spending 10+ minutes on some problems because I really want to get the solution without looking at the answer. I'm thinking this is not very productive, should one treat the practice questions as if it is the actual test and only spend roughly 2 minutes a question? At this stage, I’m only practicing quant.

Thanks for the help!

In my opinion - there is no right answer to this question. You need to ask yourself whether this is the best way for you to really understand the solution.
I will tell you what I would do differently and you can consider whether it might work for you as well.

If I get stuck - I will ask myself why I am stuck. Is it just a very very hard question? Did I missed the question's "trick"? Maybe I just do not know how to solve this kind of questions?

For each one of these answers there is a different solution. If you do not know how to solve it - even if you stare in the question for two days - you will not solve it and you just waste your time. However, if its not a question of knowledge - I do believe fighting for the answer is the best way to study.
In addition - after reading the answer - even if you are 100% sure that you understood it - make sure to solve it yourself without the solution. Sometimes you might find out that you did not fully understand the solution.

Lastly - as usual, try to focus on one subject and "kill" any gaps in knowledge you might have.

Good luck.
