Morning folks!

I'm trying to land a pre-MBA internship (not the traditional 3 month internship, but more the ones offered by A.T. Kearney, P&G, & McKinsey, which are only a few days long). I see that some of these companies ask for cover letters to apply to these pre-MBA programs. Can any of you help me figure out what a cover letter for these programs should look like? Should it be along the same lines as a normal CL?

Yes a traditional cover letter is recommended. It can be a bit briefer for this type of role, but you want to get across the same points you focus on in a regular cover letter. Good luck and let me know if you want any assistance with anything. [email protected]

The cover letter should be pretty much the same as any other cover letter - meaning presenting reasons why you are a perfect fit, why you are interested, how you will fulfill their requirements, and highlighting your goals and development within the cover letter.

Cover letter is basically the same as one you'd submit to a regular company. Some business schools may have some available on their career center sites or you can find templates online. I would not over think this
