Hi Diego,

While the OG is a great book for practice questions, it's not really designed to show you all of the Tactics, patterns and 'secrets' to the GMAT. For those things (and more), you'll likely want to invest in a GMAT Course of some type (either Guided Self-Study or instructor-led). Before you jump at any of the various options, I'd like to know more about your timeline/goals:

1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

1) Anything over 600 will do. University of Manitoba has 500 minimum 550 preferred. Anything over that will be just fine.
2) I am in no rush. My school doesn't have an intake until next fall that is 1 year from now.
3) I was planning to apply sometime in the new year

Hi Diego,

You've given yourself lots of time to study, which is good. Since it sounds like you're at a phase in which you're trying to figure out how best to learn, I highly recommend that you take advantage of all of the free materials that are available. Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at out site (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them, then if you decide to invest in a Course, then you can choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

Since you're primarily interested in DS right now, you should check out the free DS materials that we offer in our Free Trial (no credit card required).

If you have any additional question, then just let me know.

Hey Diego

Here is a customized 2-3 month study plan that can help boost your score: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-t ... study-plan

Use this as a guideline. You don’t have to follow it exactly but the structure of the study plan should be the same structure that you take in your approach. This helps to optimize your retention and learning.

As you study, we recommend that you focus on one particular subsection for multiple consecutive days before moving onto the next. You can see this in our study plan where we recommend 5 days on nothing but SC -- before moving onto CR and then RC.

Here is a sample SC video to help you start your journey: https://www.gmatpill.com/sentencecorrect ... ythons.mp4

Best of luck- we are here to help.
