Thanks for the reply. As you stated, i'm from the over-represented demographic area :P.

I've been working on QA/VA for past 2 months. Can you guide me with prep strategy/plan if I plan to take on the test in Mid sep? my only concern is the little amount of time I have.
i'm also ambiguous about the shortlisting of schools dependent on demography/ROI.

It would be really helpful if you can guide me in preparing a strategy to bell the test. I'm taking my first GMAT mock test tomorrow.

Hi kartiksfc ,

Here is a study plan that we started: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-self-pr ... 45667.html

For more plans: https://magoosh.com/gmat/2012/3-month-g ... beginners/

Let's discuss about the schools selection once you get your score.

Give your first Mock and identify your weaknesses. Post that work on those and get your dream score asap.

Hello guys, I'm preparing for CAT (Indian Mba test) for 2 months and i'm planning to take on GMAT by oct-nov. Haven't decided this till date. Need suggestion and advice regarding the type of B-schools to shortlist. Prep strategy aligning towards GMAT while preparing for CAT. As most b-schools have application deadline in Oct(taking in consideration the scholarships) should I opt on taking GMAT in early Sep, or should i focus on preparation and take the test late in Oct-Nov. Please advice how will such a thing hamper the scholarships and admission process.

Also, need help in shortlisting B-schools particular to location. I'm confused whether I should opt for US/Germany/Singapore/etc taking in consideration return of investment and admission.

It would be really helpful if someone could guide me here. Appreciate the help. Thanks !

Hi

First of all take a gmat prep diagnostic test to know you current standing
Time period depends upon a few things

How strong your Verbal and quant basics are?
Your Target score?
Verbal or Non-verbal English speaker?

3 Months is a typical time period required to prepare GMAT
