Because you're a CFA I'm assuming? That's awesome!

CFA wouldn't waiver accounting, I don't think. I am out of Economics (2 courses), targetting getting out of the core Finance and Stats courses.

If there is one thing I can do without, it is a term of lectures on stats.

3underscore - How did you waive out, based on your academics/transcripts or because of your work?

I was thinking of waiving out of Economics (my undergrad major) but I could use a refresher so maybe I shouldn't try to waive out.

they have my transcripts, so I can waive economics. I was advised in the interview to waive as much of the core as I can.

I will take a stats exam they set up, and hopefully get out of that. I think it is similar for finance, but I have worked for long enough in the field and done enough exams that I reckon I should be able to bin a few others.

Its one of the things they have as "to be announced later this summer". Honest, I will study all summer if it gets me out of doing stats lectures. I spent years at uni knowing i wouldn't get the time I spent in Stats class back, I am not doing it again.

Chi square, f-stat, t-test, heteroskedasticity, yawn yawn yawn.

I'm thinking of buying the mbamath.com program. I haven't looked into it too much other than skimming the website, but it seems like the material covered is exactly the stuff you'll want a head start on before school start.

I purchased the mbamath.com program a few weeks back. I'm real happy with the content and I would reccomend it to anyone who's lacking in some areas or just needs a structured review. It's also a great way to pass time at work 8-)
