Hi everyone,
I'm sure glad I found this site! I've never been a great test taker but always do extremely well in school. My SAT was 980, GRE (460 verbal and 700 math), GMAT from 7 years ago was 510. That 700 math was a complete fluke...I'm sure of it! I randomly guessed the last 10 questions!
Anyway, I will be applying to a variety of Ph.D. business programs for Fall 2006 admissions. I just enrolled in Princeton's class (10/4 - 11/28). I'll probably take the GMAT in early December.
It looks like the average GMAT for PHD entrance at most schools is between 680 and 710.
I am ready to dedicate HOURS of practice and class time to improve my score. Is it possible for a poor test taker like me to score a 680 - 710?
Anyway, I look forward to scouring this site in my GMAT prep adventures.
