Hi RahulJain293,
We last discussed your studies a little over 4 months ago. At that time, you were planning on taking the Official GMAT in January. Did you end up taking the GMAT as planned (and if you did, then how did you score?)?
The scoring algorithm on the Official GMAT is far more complicated than most people realize. Since that algorithm is proprietary, no GMAT company has an exact match for it, thus CAT scores can vary a bit based on the 'biases' involved in their respective designs. The most realistic CATs available are the 6 from GMAC (the 2 free CATs, and each of the 2 that come with Exam Pack 1 and Exam Pack 2), so if you have not taken any of those CATs/mocks yet, then you should plan to take one of those next. If this recent CAT was the first one that you've taken during your studies, then it's tough to say how well it actually defines your current 'ability level.' With a Score Goal of 700+, you will likely need at least another 2 months of consistent, guided study before you will be able to consistently score 700+. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level.
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) What type of study routine have you been following over the last 4 months? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) Have you taken any additional CATs/mocks besides this recent one? On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
