Wow - you know how to pose three hundred questions in a single post. Just keep in mind that the more questions you pack in a single post, the less replies you will get.

I don't know if tests alone will help you gain 10 V points.

Look into this book: Kaplan Verbal Foundations - this is one of the best grammar books for GMAT i've seen (seems to be more targeted towards non-native speakers).
I just got a copy and thought it was great. My review should be already on Amazon.

Thanks BB........
Yes I know I packed too many ques in that post but was just speaking my mind out...........

Will check out the book which you referred for sure.......

i took 2 Princeton tests and my scores were

1. 610 (Q45 - just 3 wrong and V29)
2. 610 (Q41 - 6 wrong and V34)

The main score was the same but I was more focussed on the verbal this second time and scored a 34. do you think, I can improve upon my verbal? I actually get stuck with 2 choices and eventually select the wrong one!! and this frustrates me to no ends........!!!

Yes, everybody does this and everyone improves, so you definitely have hope :)

Just make sure you print and bind all the questions you get wrong, esp. the ones that you have a situation like that.

If you are a fan of PR - I just got another book in the mail today for review.

1,012 GMAT Practice Questions (Graduate School Test Preparation)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/037542 ... 0375429271

From the first glance looks pretty good. There are about 500 Verbal questions - 150 RC's, 175 SC's and 159 CR's. They are all split according to the question topic - such as Assumption CR's Bold face CR's Subject verb agreement SC's. RC's are a bit screwed up, but nothing is perfect. The book does not much theory/concepts, but only targeted practice. The only issue is that most questions are sub-650 level and only a few are above. Also the PR verbal questions are usually a slightly different flavor than the OG, but still I think could be worth it.
