Ugh, just took a Princeton Review CAT. The scores were really strange.
I got 670 (ouch) with a Q50 and V33?! I never got a V that low before on the OG, GMATPrep, or Manhattan.
My other scores were Manhattan 720 (Q44, V41) and GMATPrep1 770 (Q50, V44).
I actually missed more RC and CR questions than SC?! In my GMATPrep, 6 out of 8 wrongs were SC. Manhattan was similar, mostly SC. And now my SC is really good and RC/CR is really bad?
I reviewed all my mistakes, and I would say 1/2 of the CR/RC I would dispute the official answer completely. I've never this fully disagreed with even 1 question on the OG, GMATPrep, and Manhattan.
Has anyone ever had this experience with PR's Verbal section? Oh yeah, their explanations were pretty bad too.
Anyway, is this something I should worry about or just consider it a fluke and keep on working the OG and GMATPrep stuff?

I too had a similar experience with PR CAT 1 verbal. I scored only 27 . My cores in other CATs such as MGMAT, GMATPrep have ranged from 33 to 38.
The verbal score i got on PR CAT 1 had really bombed my confidence for few days. I have just moved on and ignored that score. I suggest you to forget the PR score and keep a learning approach

Right now my confidence is at an all time low because I just finished the Manhattan GMAT CAT 2 and got a 680 (Q47, V36)
My Q went up 3 pts from Q44 the last time I took it (a week ago), but my V went from 41 to 36, and I missed EIGHTEEN questions on the Verbal, including a lot of CR questions (which I shouldn't have missed).
I think it's probably because I tried taking 2 tests (PR earlier today, and Manhattan later) and my the middle of verbal, my brain was obviously having a hard time understanding passages and thinking clearly. I guess that means if I'm fresh, I should be able to do well.
I was trying to do 2 tests in a row just to see my stamina (since I haven't done the AWA yet), but I guess the max I can do is 3 or so sections before my brain dies... so I guess it's a good indicator. MGMAT quant is much harder than an hour of AWA, so I think I'm not in too bad of a shape.
Anyway, this will lower my confidence for the next few days as I do more practice questions on the OG... right now I just feel like crap...
