Hi GMATers,

Here's my situation - I have studied for about 4 months using Veritas on-demand videos. My score was 50Q & 32V, 6AWA, 8 IR. Yes, the big blemish is the verbal.

I am unable to strategize on how to attack the verbal overall and am contemplating a tutor. The challenge seems that most tutoring from associations (princeton review, kaplan etc.) seem to offer the whole package (quant + verbal)... is that the case?

Also, where can you find other freelance online or in-person tutors for such.

Any Advice?

Hi rvkrules,

Tutoring may or may not provide the solution that you're looking for, so before you invest in that type of resource, I'd like to know a bit more about how you studied and your plans:

1) What is your goal score?
2) What resources did you use besides the Veritas videos?
3) How did you score on each of your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
