Hey guys - does anyone have experience with prodigy finance for the school they selected? Would love to know what your experience was with them and how you approached the application - thanks!

I got a loan approved from Prodigy Finance for $20,000 for attending the foster FT program. I too am looking for someone with previous experience with PF.

Did I understood correct that Prodigy charges 1.25% of the loan amount just for the application - even if one decides not to take the loan later on?

hey... in response to the application fee, it is supposedly fully refundable. 
I paid $500, but now the deal doesn't work out for me and I'm pulling out. So they've initiated a refund.. will let you guys know once i get the money in hand...

Hi, 
Though I haven't applied to prodigy yet, but after coming across to many examples about financing through them, I have to make up a back up plan.
For example: Most of Indians didn't got full tuition fee loans (out of colleges mentioned in the list) such as Rotman, Tepper. etc
Say I am targeting Foster... and getting 20k usd loan... that kills my plan to apply for loan for tuition fee.
Would look forward to here experiences of other people too.
Will make a similar post to on every school application thread just to seek out how much loans in terms of tuition fee does one got yet.

Hi Celestial

I gather from your message that you've checked out our website. You'll see that the maximum loan amount that you could borrow is slightly different across each business school. In addition, the loan amount that each student is offered may be different, as it will be based on the individual's application (their credit profile, total debt burden, etc). 
This is why some students may not get offered a loan for the full amount they are asking for. While this is understandably frustrating, Prodigy works in this way because we want to ensure that our borrowers will realistically be able to afford their loan repayments after they graduate, without putting too much unnecessary pressure on them.

Hello  prodigyfinance ,

I can not see name of my b-school in the dropdown provided on Prodigy website.
Does that means I will not be able to avail the loan from Prodigy ?

We will be adding a few new schools in the next couple of months and being funding for them from next year. Which b-school and course are you looking for? Do let me know, and I can confirm with my colleague if we will be funding your school next year or not.

Hi  prodigyfinance , I had applied for a loan. There was some confusion regarding my residency status which I resolved over phone. That was on Dec 31st. After that I sent multiple emails, and left voice messages to find out status of my application but have not heard back yet. There has been no response to my queries. I am wondering what the status is and is the response rate usually slow due to the peak season or is it just my case.
