Hey Guys,
I recently got the acceptance from Rotman 2018! Yay
Does any one have information on
Prodigy Finance?
Their application portal is not open yet, and I wanted information on how it looks for students with Non Co-signer Non Collateral situations.
I don't have much options for the financing, except for
Prodigy and I wanted to know if there is anything I should know: From previous students or current students. I am not getting much help from the help desk they have, as they are still setting up the portal.
Let me know, This will help me decide Rotman by December 4th!
Thanks!
Akshatha
Hi Akshatha
Congrats on your acceptance into Rotman! My name is Liz, I work in
Prodigy's marketing team.
It is correct that we are still setting up your class on our site, but you should be able to apply in the next week or so. None of our loans require a co-signer or collateral, so you've got nothing to worry about there.
Once you've completed your application and uploaded your Proof of Admission from the school, it will take our team about 5 business days (but sometimes less) to assess your application. We'll then get back to you with your personalised interest rate and loan amount based on your individual profile and affordability. Once you accept the draft loan terms that we send to you, we'll ask you to provide supporting documents for the information you provided in your loan application - you can view what supporting documents you'll need here:
https://prodigyfinance.com/students_faq#category_20If everything is in order, your loan will be finalised, and then when you arrive on campus the funds will be disbursed directly to the business school. For Rotman, the loan can only be used for tuition, not for living expenses.
I hope this helps? Please let me know if I can assist with anything else.
Kind regards
Liz
