Dear All,

I am planning to apply for a decent master in finance, but I am still not that confident about it.

Regarding my profil:

- I just made my GMAT with a quite high quant score but a low verbal one
640 (q:49 v:28)

- Bachelor in business administration, Upper 2.1. My core moduls were all finance related, with very good marks.

- 2 internships:
Tier 1 (BCG,MKY;BAIN) stratetig consulting
Big 4 M&A (at the moment, for 6 months)

Target unis:

Esade MsF
Bocconi MsF
LSE MsF, MsF/A
IE Business school MsF
EDHEC MsF
Imperial College London MsF
HEC MsF
RSM MsF
..

I would love to start at Bocconi or Esade...

What do you guys think ?

I think most of those are going to be tough. I would redo the GMAT. Focus on the verbal which you can do and easily get the GMAT to the 700 range. Euro schools tend to focus on marks more than US programs. That 640 GMAT is going to be tough to overcome. Maybe IE and ESADE will be in range.
