Hi there,
Thanks for your post. You have an interesting background, and I'd think would be a solid candidate for those programs, yes. Are you aiming for R3 because there's just not much time left at this point for R2?? The R3 aspect is what makes it even more challenging in my mind; just because many spots are already taken so it can be more competitive than earlier rounds in that respect. And of course, there are no guarantees and MANY well qualified applicants are turned away by these programs every year, and some of it is subjective (i.e. the adcomm makes an overall decisions based on your entire application, including your essays and what they represent re: the person applying). But in general you have a solid profile, in particular: GMAT score; internship/work experience as much as possible during your studies, at reputable companies; international experiences; great academics; some extracurricular involvement; etc. Not sure if you have any community involvement or volunteering or if I missed that? That could be one weakness. Otherwise, be sure to really focus on those essays as they can take a lot of time and can have a real impact. Good luck and keep us posted on questions and your progress/decisions! If you'd like to speak further at any point, we do offer a free 30 min consult, at
